How does Insightful’s Pricing work?

Each employee counts as one user, regardless of how many devices they use Insightful on. You will be billed for each user based on the user pricing for the plan you have selected. Additionally, users with Admin, Manager and Client access won’t be charged, unless you’re using Insightful to track their activities as well.

How does Insighful’s Enterprise pricing work?

Insightful’s Enterprise pricing is charged per user as per the pricing structure agreed to under your Enterprise plan. To discuss your Enterprise team’s requirements and get more information about Enterprise pricing, please contact sales.

Can I add new users if I already paid?

Yes. If you add a new employee to your Workspace, you’ll be automatically charged for their license on a prorated basis. For example, on an annual plan, if you add a new employee three months into your 12-month billing cycle, you will only be charged for the nine months they are active. Similarly, if you have a monthly subscription, the cost for new employees will be calculated in the next billing cycle on a prorated basis based on how many days into your billing cycle they were active.

Do you offer on-premise data storage?

Yes. All aspects of the Insightful platform can be securely deployed on premise on your infrastructure. This includes Insightful’s infrastructure, data processing, updates and more – it’s all entirely hosted on your network. Please note, in order to access our on-premise option, you must buy licenses for at least 250 employees.

Are there any limitations to the free trial?

There are no limitations during the free trial period. You get full access to all features except for automatic time mapping (this functionality requires extended use). You can also add as many employees as you want. You can cancel anytime within your 7-day trial period at zero cost if you decide Insightful isn’t right for your team’s productivity.

How does Insightful apply sales tax to US purchases?

Sales tax is based on your billing address and local laws. It's shown at checkout and on invoices. Ensure your address is current. We charge tax where required by law and remit it to the jurisdiction.For more information, check out our detailed help article.

How can I request a sales tax exemption?

If your organization qualifies for a tax exemption, send us a copy of your valid Sales Tax Exemption certificate for your U.S. jurisdiction.

Follow these steps:

     1. Add Insightful’s full name and address to your tax-exempt certificate:

     2. Email your current and signed sales tax-exempt certificate to billing@insightful.io and include your Insightful Account ID.
